Friday Movie Freak

Last night, the place where I am working for, Planet Hollywood Bali held a new event, Friday Movie Freak. This regular event is dedicated to all film lovers who interest in producing short movies and being the star in their own movie. Every month, those movies will be selected and the winner will become a candidate for the same event in Jakarta.

The event was opened by showing several selected short movies. There were also some interviews with the creator and 'the actor /actress'. One of a young director, Mr Agung said; “sometimes the politician create a story to cover the truth, but we (film maker) want to express the truth by showing the untrue story (movie)”

The audience were look very enthusiastic watching their friends (or their self) showing on the big screen. Although they are still beginners and it needs more improvement, but this could be a stepping stone for their future. There are also live band performance, sexy dancer and showing 'film 300' on the big screen.
